Sorry this took so long!

4. Name three authors that were influential to your work and tell why
This is going to sound like a cop-out, but that's really hard to say. I read a wide variety of authors and I can't really pinpoint any in-particular that where consciously an influence, though I am sure everything I have ever read has influenced me one way or another. One reviewer told me that my writing was obviously influence by an author I had never read before, so who knows.

24. Favorite scene you’ve ever written
Wow, another very tough question. It's a really hard choice. I've written a lot of scenes I like. Probably the big reveal where Ed finally talks in my WIP Bang 2016 fic. I was pretty proud of myself for building suspense and then ripping out the reader's heart like that.

44. Writing advice
Just write. Don't worry about how you should write or what you should write, just write. This was some art advice someone gave me a while back, but I feel like it applies to writing too; “Create what you like and eventually, someone else will come along who likes it too.”

I don't think your answer was a cop out by any means. I agree with you. Everything you read influences you in different ways.

I will have to check that fic out!!

Thanks for the advice!!!

Bless you for asking an easy one!

36. Canon or au?
Do you reread your own stories?
Do you want to be published some day?
I write more straight up AU than “canon compliant” fic for sure. No reason why, that's just what happens. I must just like to see how characters will fair in unfamiliar environments.

Yes, I reread my own stories frequently. Usually, its because it is a part of a series or a chapter fic and I need to remind myself of where the story is at or refresh myself on a detail. I also tend to reread a fic before replying to a comment on it to remind myself what that fic was about or what the commenter is talking about.

I do want to be published some day, though I feel like my chances are slim. The responses I have gotten from publishers when I submit for consideration for anthologies tends to be either the story is too weird or not weird enough and I have severe trouble carrying a plot through long enough or in a linear enough fashion to finish any of the novels or novellas I have started. I haven't given up though.

7. Early influences on your writing
Not having an audience early on probably helped a lot. It gave me the freedom to explore whatever I wanted without worrying about what anyone would think about it.

26. Story you’re most proud of
This changes often and I am proud of all my fics, but right now, the finished fics I am most proud of are Purgatory Comes in Many Forms and Cinderella Had a Wrench. The unfinished fic I am most proud of is How You Ruin Me.
