Youtube Graveyard
Youtube has been cleaning house and we know what that means...we all had to say good bye to some of our little friends. I've kind of become obsessed with youtube because at work there isn't much to do between midnight and 8am, except play on the computer and now we can't play with youtube anymore at work. So I've become extra obsessed. In memory of some of my favorite youtube videos that are no longer with us, I have made a tribute...under a cut:
"Just to see you Smile"- This was a vam slide show done to the song "Just to see you Smile" by Tim McGraw. It was well done but it was really one of my favorites because it was the only vam video I have every found done to a country song.
"Marcy Playground- Sex and Candy"- the actual music video
"Vam Running up That Hill"- Another well done vam video. It used photos and film footage. It was to "Running up that hill" by Placebo
"Zim eats Waffles"- a 12 or 13 minute clip from Invader Zim. One of Hairball's favorites.
"Every time we touch"- another Vam video. It was one of the first I ever saw, before youtube even existed. Its excellent timing and humorous footage kept me coming back again and again. It was set to "Every time we Touch" by Cascada. It has recently been resurrected by the fabulous and infamous morphine300 who posted it in the first place and created it.
"Bam Margera Spak's German"- 19 seconds of Bam trying to speak German
"Dani California"- the Red Hot Chili Pepper's music video of the song.
"Tenacious D- The Metal"- it was their SNL performance of the metal.
"The Best of Bam Margera's Bails" - Do I really need to explain this one? Bam unintentionally busting his ass, come on.
"Daria Arts and Crass, pt 1-3"- one of my favorite episodes
"Simpson's Hamlet"- the Simpson’s do Hamlet
"Alanis Morrissette on Cribs"- her apartment was pretty cool
"Alanis Morrissette hands Clean" - the music video
"Hinder Lips of an Angel"- the music video
"Ville Valo, Bam MArgera, and Jimmy Pop Messing around" - mostly drunken skateboarding and Jimmy Pop's sweet juggling skills and Ville's underwear ;). Thankfully there are many posts of this and some still exist.
"Jackass 2"- Clips from Jackass 2 (mostly of Johnny Knoxville) set to "American Idiot" by Greenday
"Millionaire Bam" - a Bam Margera tribute set to "Million Dollar Man" by Kutless (an excellent song)
"Coldplay Scientist"- the music video
"Bam Margera- Shut up"- another tribute video this one to "Shut up" by Simple Plan
"Back in the Saddle" the music video to the song by Matraca Berg
"Trisha Yearwood Baby I lied" - the music video
"Wrong side of Memphis"- the music video by Trisha Yearwood
"I would have loved you anyway"- the music video by Trisha Yearwood
"Mary Chapin Carpenter He thinks He'll Keep Her" - the music video
"Oasis Don't Look Back in Anger" - the music video
"A Thing Called Love"- the best vimi video ever. Technically it wasn’t removed, it was set to private by the person who posted it but it amounts to the same thing for me. It included photos and footage. They even actually adjusted the speed of the footage to match the song so that it was almost believable that Ville was singing "A Thing Called Love" by The Darkness.

"Dugera Dark Secret Love"- one of the creepiest dugera videos ever, set to "Dark Secret Love" by Him
"Antiquing"- the antiquing skit from Jackass (or CKY I’m really not sure)
"Random Hero"- a Ryan Dunn tribute set to "I need a hero"
"Bouncing off the Walls Ryan Dunn Bam Margera Redone"- a tribute video to "Bouncing off the Walls" by Sugarcult using mostly footage from Haggard
"Ryan Dunn" a Tribute video using footage without music
"Ryan Dunn and the Water Prank"- the "How to" segment for the water cannon on Home Wreckers
"Ryan Dunn Do You Realize"- A bizarre but wonderful Ryan Dunn tribute set to "Do you Realize" by Flaming Lips
There are many more videos that have disappeared but these were the one's I had bothered to bookmark. I miss them all.
