I have a beads of subjugation necklace from Inuyasha hanging on the wall that I won in a fanfic writing competition. That now is downright adorable. I mean, the winning a fandom item in a fan-event and keeping it all the years! I bet that's the kind of situation where even if you eventually move out the fandom you keep trasuring the object and the associated memories?
