Snowflake Challenge #6
Challenge #6
In your own space, post the results of your fandom scavenger hunt
1. A favorite character: On this device and on my regular cell phone, which is right in front of me, I have too many saved pictures of the Red Hood.
2. Something that makes you laugh: My cat, though she is not making me laugh right now, is sleeping in the chair next to the couch, where she often stares at me in funny positions while I work, which is hilarious.
3. A bookshelf: there isn't a bookshelf in here per se, but my TBR stack is right here. It includes Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: volume 1, Monstress: The Chosen (volume 4), Batman: The Killing Joke The Deluxe Edition, Moonstruck vol 2: Some Enchanted Evening, Dress Codes for Small Towns by Courtney Stevens, The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon, The Book of Dirt by Bram Presser, My Hygge Home by Meik Wiking, and the latest issue of Otaku USA Magazine.
4. A game or hobby you enjoy: My knitting is to my right and my latest set of polyhedral dice is to my further right. Can't really talk about my knitting because it's a gift, but my new dice are bright orange with black writing.
5. Something you find comforting: To my left is my new shoulder heating pad I got for Christmas.
6. A TV show or movie you hope more people will watch: This device has my streaming apps on it, so it has all of my watch lists. Most of these are fairly popular, but after a quick scroll - Wednesday, The Sandman, The Batman, We Baby Bears, Gentleman Jack, Batman: The Audio Adventures, Batman: Soul of the Dragon, Superman: Red Son, & Genndy Tartakousky's Primal.
7. A piece of clothing you love: I'm wearing my glow in the dark skeleton shirt. It's fairly realistic and it glows bright enough that it glows through my sweatshirt and will genuinely light up a room. And it only cost me like $8, three years ago.
8. A thing from an old fandom: I have a beads of subjugation necklace from Inuyasha hanging on the wall that I won in a fanfic writing competition.
9. A thing from a new fandom: On my real phone, I have a bunch of tabs of articles about a band called Vision Video and their lead singer's alter ego, Goth Dad open, which is a fandom that I got into near the end of last year.

Your glow-in-the-dark skeleton shirt sounds fantastic, and I'm always down about hearing about cats.

It's a pretty fantastic shirt, for sure. She is quite the character.
Thanks again

That sounds fantastic! (And a bit familiar. I may commented on it already last year? or the one before?)

That now is downright adorable. I mean, the winning a fandom item in a fan-event and keeping it all the years! I bet that's the kind of situation where even if you eventually move out the fandom you keep trasuring the object and the associated memories?

Thanks :) I think it came up when we were talking about tentacle packers on a good things post I made last year or the year before.
Thanks. Yeah, I haven't done much, if anything, in Inuyasha for years, but it's a forever treasure. I need to find a better way of displaying it though.
