Notes: See Peach Ginger Black Tea for packaging notes. I like yerba mate, I liked the last Tea of a Kind I tried, and I wanted to do the magic trick again, so I figured I would try this one too. It was awful. It mostly tasted of the artificial sweetener and bitter and was just wrong.

I drink yerba mate every day. I drink the guayki brand unsweetened. I add lemon powder. I make the hot tea in bags and let it cool and pour it into empty bottles and put it in the fridge. It's my diet beverage when I am trying not to eat. I had three bottles this morning (three half bottles). I've never tried the flavored kind or it sweetened.

I really like the guayki brand as well. I never thought to add lemon powder though. I'm going to have to try that. Nice. I used to get the loose leaf tea and brew it in a gourd and all that for special occasions, until my gourd met an unfortunate demise. It's nearly impossible to find a different brand that tastes as good, especially in the premade bottled/canned tea. It also never seems to do well with added flavors.
