I want to start this off by saying for the last 10 years or so, I've had a policy that on public rec posts, I do not rec people that are on my flists/reading circle. This isn't because I don't think anyone I am friends with is worth recommending, far from it. It's because there is no way of doing it without creating hurt feelings.

by Shenanigans Jason Todd moved as far away from his family as he could, desperate to forget a past that haunts him. He has no idea why he answers the text, it's just a wrong number. The decision changes his life., rated Mature, pairing: Jason Todd/Roy Harper. This is a no capes AU where Jason goes away to college across the country, intent on breaking ties with his family and not making any friends. Things do not go according to plan. This is a sweet story of mistaken identities, rekindling first love, and coming home again. Mind the tags on the fic.
