Challenge #9
In your own space, celebrate a personal win from the past year: it can be a list of fanworks you're especially proud of, time you spent in the community, a quality or skill you cultivated in yourself, something you generally feel went well. This challenge really threw me in January, as 2022, like 2023 has been, was a rough year, and I literally just couldn't think of anything. Which is kinda strange considering how much worse this year as been and I actually do have answers for this challenge for 2023. However, in case this challenge pops up again on the upcoming Snowflake, I don't really want to talk about this year here.
Also, I feel like, if I can find some wins for 2022, I can give myself a little grace and be able to find some for 2023, come reflection time.
So going back to 2022, I: survived, my mother and I finally got our house back to ourselves, got a new phone, finally got the labels put on the baskets in the bathroom, had success with a new pairing, rocked a few recipes that were new to me, managed to read and watch a few things that had been on my to do list a long time, finished the library's summer reading challenge, painted my first painting in several years, started knitting, started an Instagram, got to celebrate my niece's birthday with her in person, sold my car, started feeding the crows, managed to get an adult happy meal, managed to get my October sticker day Dutch Bros, got one of the new McDonald's boo buckets.
When it comes time to talk about 2023, may I remember that not every solitary thing sucked.
