Notes:
This was an okay tea, not a great tea. It's part of the haul I got from my sister. Most of them are medicinal. It was mellower than any Yogi brand tea and did well as something soothing and hot to go with my breakfast, but it shared a very similar distinctly medicinal taste that got stronger as I drank it, that Yogi brand teas have. I would guess it's something in the "proprietary blend," as the only other things in the ingredients list are ginger and chamomile. It also at no point tasted like ginger or chamomile.

Wow, you have to work pretty hard to fuck up ginger and chamomile. 0_o Maybe they overloaded adaptogens? Some of those are pretty rank. My favorite is mild though: Triple Leaf Decaf Green Tea with Ginseng. It's basically a big box o' adaptogens, but tastes pretty much like green tea.

That is probably what it is. All I know for sure is that it is something or multiple somethings in there undefined proprietary blend, as it's in all of their teas and all of their teas share the same overwhelming flavor.

I will have to keep an eye out for that, thank you.

I would suspect ashwagandha, whose name means "horse sweat."
