Logging Conference

The logging conference was here Thursday- Saturday last week. We all know what that means, my dad came to visit. Overall it wasn't that bad. Friday he took me to dinner at the Roadhouse, which makes me very happy because it means that I got a steak and a 32 ounce homemade strawberry lemonade. The food there is really a thing of beauty. Saturday morning we went to the logging conference. We took Hairball with us. She really had a lot of fun. It was family day, so there was a lot of competitions to watch. This year they had the BIG equipment there, so I had to really keep an eye on Hairball. The swag wasn't as good as it had been but Hairball got one of the very sought after yardsticks (and was far too happy about it) and I got a Volvo pin, besides all the pens and pencils, stickers and candy. Somewhere, they were giving out baby trees and tote bags but we were tired, so we didn't look for them. Later, Dad and I went shopping, he needed shoes, saw blades, and a u-joint puller, I needed a crochet hook and a 2in clip. We got lost trying to find the other Walmart, so then it became a mission. That was entertaining. We also went to Harbor Freight and I think Austin works there, but I wasn't sure it was him. He isn't one of my friends but I do know him. And I have from a very reliable source that he was one of the assholes that chased us on valentines day with water balloons. But like I said I wasn't 100% sure, so I didn't deck him.

On Saturday night, I went to watch Hairball, TopHatBoy, DonJon, and NewGuy play D&D. The First thing DonJon asked me was "So how's your sex life?" After TopHatBoy yelled at him for his question, DonJon explained that "well out of all of us she is the most likely to have one!"
How sad. How very very sad...
for all of us.

More on the continuing Unholy Union Saga...
So, as you know not only am I watching the show (stop laughing this instant!), I am taping it for my mom, somewhat unsuccessfully. I was waiting for all four episodes, in order, to replay, so, I could re-tape them, in order and completely, before the next episode came on. After my TV guide failed me three times, I went to MTV.com to look at their tv schedule and I finally got them taped! So right now I am taping the latest episode, hopefully I am not taping over anything.

Buzznet

If you are searching for photos of your favorite band (or just about anything else for that matter) buzznet really is the place to search. It used to be my favorite place to watch fan videos as well (it was around long before youtube). I still recommend it to everyone, fans are the ones that post there and they can be very resourceful. I have been all but avoiding buzznet since I made Martini's birthday present. Recently though, I went back. I spent three days looking for this picture: using other means but I couldn't find it. I found related pictures but not the exact one I was looking for. So finally, I went on buzznet and found it in about 10 minutes. I thought maybe after my long absence I would be wanting to go back to playing there daily and use it with my massive pic searches like old times, but no, not even with its pretty new layout and convenient search guide. Buzznet you're still the best but the love affair is definitely over.

Anything to Avoid my Papers

My poor empty profile! Well my bio section just got something in it. I adopted three eggs from Unholy Labs, the fruity egg, the egg of love, and the tear drop egg. They are supposed to hatch on March 1st. Expect more stupid update posts.
