WARNING SORT OF SPOILERS

I have to be quick about this so, you are basically getting the notes I jotted down while watching.

Very first thought: WTF and WOW, they let Sam keep his man fur for a change. (Those two things were not related.)

The first conversation about Mary between Dean and Cas felt awkward. Not like normal Cas conversations awkward, but more like they were trying to force something on us in that moment.

What did Sam say when he brought himself out of the hallucination?

Dean reaction to Mary saying John was a great father was so perfect and said so much.

I am loving Mary.

When did they get Mary clothes?

Rowena! *happy dance of eternal joy*

You ever notice that Luci seems to have the same MO whenever he goes after a vessel (that we see)?

Isn't the hotel set just the heaven set repainted?

Red glowing eyes, really?

Oh, Sam!!

I wonder how they will keep Misha and Jared separated next week.

Post episode thoughts: Another great episode. This season has a lot of promise. I am loving the Winchester dynamics. At least the British MoL plot has thickened, so it might not be a total dud. Rick Springfield is doing better than I thought he would. I am still reserving judgment on this latest flavor of Cas, but so far so good.

I like Mary too and I like how the whole family dynamic has changed. It's not the boys against the world anymore. I like how Dean's adjusting nicely & his protectiveness is adorable. So is Sammy's awkwardness. That scene in the bunker when Sammy came to talk to her, was sooo heart-wrenching! T.T I felt myself tearing up as he had NO memories of her at all & the ones he does are colored by Dean.I'd love to see where they're taking this and unless they start smoking crack while writing we will see it. :D

I always thought Mary found stuff to wear in the bunker at least until she & Dean could go out & get some.

You know, now that you mention it, that hotel set could be Heaven with a new paint job as it not unheard of to recycle sets. My first thought though, was "WOW! He stays in better places than the Boys do!" XD

I liked the red glowing eyes. XD

Why are they separating Misha & Jared? *feels like I missed SOMETHING*

I'm glad Rowena's back!! Her scenes with Crowley are made of awesome sauce!! :D

I don't like the Brits, especially the woman. >.> I don't trust them & I wish they'd wrap that arc up quickly & get on with the business of putting Luci back in the cage. That arc is a lot more interesting & promises to be a lot more fun.

As for Cas... As long as he gets air time, I'm happy. :D

Yeah, I am liking what they have done so far, but am trying not to get to excited just because the writers have burned us in the past.

Well, yeah and obviously some of the stuff she is wearing is Dean's, but those jeans fit her, like actually fit her. Those were not borrowed from somewhere.

He's a rock star, of course he does!

Its not that I didn't like the effect. It's a continuity issue. We have seen Lucifer wandering around in three other vessels, one of which was his true vessel, and they never did that before. You can argue that Cas was special and that we didn't see him in Sam enough to judge, but with the amount of time he has spent in Nick and the stuff he pulled while in Nick, especially during the apocalypse, there should have been some red eye action if that was a thing.

I will talk to you privately about the Misha and Jared thing.

*nods* yeah... :D But now you've got me wondering if they're going to off Mary; like the dead should stay dead, which si laughable given how many times the bo6ys have come back form the dead. XD But still... XD

So it's possible Dean took her to Walmart off screen.

Okay, that makes sense. Let's just say, maybe there's something about Vince that brings out the red eyes.

Jared's manfur was a total win. That man wears it well.

I'm liking Mary more then I thought I would. I still feel very bad for her.

Rowena is love. Crowley is plotting that is always happy making.

Overall i like this season.

As long as they have Rowena doing that thing with Crowley's mortal name every so often, I'll be happy. The way she pronounces it with so much bald hatred makes me giggle every time - "FAIR-gus" *giggle-snort* Every-last-time! XD

And I just finished the last season on NetFlix - I be fooked until this season's done with :( Oh well.

It really is a thing of beauty when she does that. I'm just happy with any bit of screen time Rowena gets.
