EPISODE REACTION POST 12.14

I really liked most of this episode. Pretty much everything except the very end. Cut for spoilers.

Hurray for a vampire episode! I have mixed feelings about them killing the alpha.

I really liked how they delved into the Winchester family dynamics. It was especially painful when Dean called Mary, Mary. I was less than pleased when Sam joined the Brits. Really, Sam? And really writers? Sneaking in some future brother vs brother crap in the last half of the season? Aren't we past that? Sam better be plotting something.

I also enjoyed the British Men of Letters getting caught with their pants down. My favorite bit actually.

Am I the only one that wants some Dean/Mr. Ketch angry hate sex?

This one I found boring. ^^;Maybe I was just tired when I watched it, but I found myself wanting to nod off. XD

That bit with Dean calling her Mary was good. Dean drinking like the proverbial fish wasn't. I know he's gone through a lot in his life & he's got issues, but he's on his way to becoming (that's if he hasn't already made it there) to becoming an alcoholic.

I don't know what to amke of Sammy & the Brits. (sounds like a band XD)It could be to keep tabs on Mary, or simply to be around her & get to know her better, or maybe he's going to show them the American branch of the Men of Letters aren't slouches. Whereever that goes, I hope it's good.

That ship has sailed. He's had a drinking problem since he got back from Hell in season 4 and they have been acknowledging it in the show since 8. I think at this point, if he stopped the DTs would kill him.

That does sound like a band XD. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

Yeah? I never really noticed it until this epi. XD You're probably right about that. Poor Dean. *sighs*

XD Yup! At least we won't have to wait long as it'll soon be Thursday. :D
