For three weeks my Uncle and his yappy little dog stayed with us. Because my uncle and I remodeled the bathroom.By my uncle and I, I mean we as in us doing all the work. And by remodel I mean tearing the whole thing down and starting over.
First we had to get all the wierd pink and orange stuff off the walls and the tiles, only to discover that the walls were made of concrete, not plaster, and all the seams were held together with chicken wire. Things did not improve much from there. The floor however turned out to be in good shape once we got the three layers of flooring off. Basically my mother now has a new toilet, tub/shower, sink, vanity, floor, ceiling, wireing, walls, and everything else that goes in a bathroom. The only thing that ended up not being rebuilt or replaced was the linen closet, which got a new paint job, molding, and the doors taken off. Expect a bigger rant when the picture get edited.
