I Was going to take a class to spin yarn and then knit an item from yarn produced. It was only $60 and you were not required to own your own drop spindle and spinning wheel. Sadly I missed the admission deadline.

Happy birthday LJ. My journal turned 2 last month.

I have a love/hate relationship with The Montel Williams Show, but the other day he said something that I actually believe in. Shocking. He was on a rant about how voters need to inform themselves about he issues instead of waiting for other people to tell them what to think. I was all worked up agreeing with him, and then I remembered who I was and what I was watching. The cat was also looking at me strangely. I also kind of like his living well Wednesdays.

My grandmother in Portland also passed away. It’s been over a month now and the services are next weekend. I really don’t know what else to say about it. I miss her very much.

Greenpeace has finally found me. They sent me a bunch of pretty postcards trying to entice me to join. So some of you maybe getting postcards in the mail, if I manage to get my act together.

The job hunt continues. No one is really hireing. I thought I had a lock on a gallery job but it was not meant to be. I’m still waiting to hear back from Fred Meyer. I have heard it can take a month for them to get back to you. Next stop McDonald’s.

Quillyboo called me out of the blue the other day. She wanted a ride home from school but I had to inform her that I had been home since February. I have managed to sell her my calculator. I just need to come up with a price.

My cell phone is a freak.

I had the best Easter basket ever, because I made it myself.By the way, Happy Easter everyone.

My mother makes weekly treks to the thrift store, because she has found one that doesn’t put prices on things and no matter how much stuff you carry to the counter it wont cost you more then $3. Sometimes I accompany her and I made what, to me, is one of the best finds ever- a 1987 7" vinyl single for Aerosmith’s “Angel” off the Geffen label. The B side is “Girl Keeps Coming Apart.” I was squeeing for hours. Woot! I finally sent Hairball her presents! Maybe I will finally send Mandy’s and Jellybean’s.
