In your own space, introduce yourself!
*waves* I'm Kat or Katt or kattrip033 or spiralicious or SpiralKat or a variety of other things depending on where you know me from as I have a tendency to have a different username everywhere, but mostly, I'm Kat, even in real life.
*looks around my accounts* Heh, I should have cleaned up a bit for company.
I do have a sticky post with a lot of links, one of which being an about me page. It was last update in June, but its still mostly accurate. It'll be updated soon-ish though.
The basics are I'm 34. There are four cats that kind of own my life. I have been housesitting for 44 weeks a year for about 10 years now, though that will be ending this summer. I'm an artist with a degree in art history. I am a major fan puppy, queer, and pagan, though I almost never talk about those three things. And I live middle of nowhere adjacent.
My journal is partially flocked and partially public.
I have a lot of fandoms, 80 at last count, but my main ones are Supernatural, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Good Omens, Merlin, Blue Exorcist, Inuyasha, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Ghost in the Shell (Stand Alone Complex mainly, but the franchise as a whole), and I just got into Longmire.
As far as ships go, I am that shipper that made that armada meme about. I wish I was kidding, I have over 45 in Supernatural alone, but in most fandoms I just have a handful.
Mostly, I post semi-random things about my life; things the cats did, lunches with my mother, movies I saw, local events, that kind of thing. I (try to) do a weekly “Good Things” post and a weekly update to my goals. But I do memes and challenges too.
Most of my fanfic is here:
I do have a fic journal here that has my original fic, but the fanfics are way out of date:

Friending policy: As long as I know how you found me and you're over 18, I will generally friend you back.

Date: 2020-01-03 03:08 am (UTC)Our family has a winter holiday tradition of watching Avatar: The Last Airbender or Korra -- this season it's Avatar, and we just finished the first season! :D

Date: 2020-01-03 09:56 pm (UTC)That's a pretty cool tradition. Do you watch the whole series through or just a season? I still haven't finished Korra. I'm just having trouble getting my hands on the fourth season and have something I can play it on at the same time.

Date: 2020-01-03 04:38 am (UTC)[Honestly, I wouldn't worry about cleaning up for company. I think all of us have clutter in the journal-corners. I know I do...]
Yay another horror fan! I've been finding that Snowflake is an *excellent* way to find other gorehounds in the fannish community. Your default icon makes me grin. And I thoroughly agree with the belief that Halloween is a way of life. :D
80 Fandoms??? WOW. That is epic and awesome.

Yeah? I will have to keep a look out for them then :D Thank you. It's from a trick-or-treating thing FB did years ago when it was trying to be like Myspace. Yes!
Thanks, lol

Date: 2020-01-07 01:40 pm (UTC)Also, Farscape, Leverage, and White Collar are all somewhere in my fandom history, too. A great trio of shows.

Date: 2020-01-16 10:49 pm (UTC)A very underappreciated trio of shows as well. It's hard to find someone who knows one of them, let alone all three.
