Now this is a funny little article about you guessed it, Crocs. The shoes everyone loves to hate. When I first read this article I thought it was funny and wanted to share it with you all, then changed my mind for reasons unknown. However, today I changed my mind once again after I went into the hardware store today and saw Croc cell phone holders that not only look like the shoes but you can buy those stupid little decoration things you can put in the holes. The madness must end!

Full disclosure time. Yes, in the last 2 years I have owned 2 pairs of these shoes. The reasons? Well, I have large, wide feet and finding shoes that fit are damned near impossible, finding ones that are comfortable is even harder. I do a lot of walking. Until recently, I was walking several miles a day, not for enjoyment but as a necessary part of daily life to get to where I needed to be. I also often leave at a moments notice without thinking ahead enough to actually be able to coordinate my footwear with my activities. So all of my shoes need to be comfortable and easy to put on (as I am often just stumbling out of bed when I leave). I thought they were ugly as sin and refused to believe the hype until one day, desperate for footwear (I had gone to class in my fuzzy tiger slippers two days in a row), I finally succumbed to peer pressure and bought the first pair. They were very comfortable, but impossible to keep clean and I managed to walk through them in less then three months. I cursed them to hell and refused to buy another pair. Then a few months ago I injured my foot and it was swollen to the point were it just would not fit into any shoes I owned, so my mother came home with my second pair of Crocs. They fit my misshapen foot and were even uglier then the first pair. I also managed to walk through that pair and destroy them in less then 3 months. Also whenever my mother was left alone with the shoes, she would put some of those decoration things in them. They are nearly impossible to remove! She has offered to get me another pair but I kindly explained to her that any benefits they may have are not enough for me to be willing to deal with shoes that don't last my rough treatment of them or are that ugly.

END CROCS.

If you haven't seen them yet, google Croc High Heels. Yes, there are crocs with heels now. It's disturbing.

I have heard of these high heel Crocs,*shudders*, but I have not seen them, nor do I plan too. I think they are even mentioned in the article.

That sounds so cute. I've always wanted fuzzy animal slippers. I used to have a pair of tiger slippers but it was just the fur and didn't have a head so they weren't that cute. I'd love to have bunny slippers, though. XD

I have had fuzzy tiger slippers, fuzzy panther slippers, and fuzzy hello kitty slippers, but never fuzzy bunny slippers. Fuzzy bunny slippers would be cute though. All of my animal slippers have seen their last days. Probably because of walking around outside and going to class in them. XD

Awww, lols. I'd love going to class in slippers. I don't own any slippers and to be honest, probably wouldn't wear them if I did. Lol. It'd be nice to have them, though.

If I hadn't been living on campus I wouldn't have been doing it and my professors were none too pleased with it. Since I graduated I don't really think I'd wear them but I miss them.
