Dear Yule Goat

Dear Yule Goat,
I know I am really getting this in under the wire here, as it's going to be Yule in a few hours, (or it was when I started typing this), but here are my wishes for the season and beyond:
- Forgiveness. Over the last year, I have been even more absent than usual. There isn't a singular reason for this, but I have been doing my best to make up for it. There are definately things (posts, messages on social medias, emails, wishlist replies, PMs, comments, subeta messages, etc) I needed to, owed, or wanted to reply to that have absolutely disappeared into the void. Those, I can do nothing about and I am sorry. I have been scheduling time each day to sort through and reply to current and old messages. Also, I've been scheduling time to touch base with people in general, with varying success. Please forgive me, my fumbling at keeping in touch, and my late comments. Especially as I continue spelunking through my various inboxes.
- Give some extra love to the animals in your life.
- Support indigenous business & artists.
- Supply recs. I do bullet journaling, art journaling, planners, common place books, regular journaling, smash journaling, and book annotating. All of these practices/hobbies have overlapping supplies and I am running out and haven't been able to find replacement supplies locally, which means I am going to have to go shopping online. (Also, I wasn't supper satisfied with what I had, but it was what I could get.) I find this task near overwhelming. Some recommendations to help point me in a direction would be helpful, either for supplies or places to shop for them. I currently have journals and a planner that will work for me. Things I am looking for or will be soon include pens (especially fine and super fine points), markers & highlighters, washi tape, tabs, clear & translucent post its, flags, & stencils or stamps to make checklist boxes.
- a consistent, reliable source of ASMR & audios to help me sleep.
- Gotham Knights video game version of Jason Todd love. I love Jason Todd in all of his various forms and the Gotham Knights video game did him dirty in a few ways, but he did not deserve the wave of hate he got from fandom and deserves some extra love.
- Let people fandom. Let people have joy. Let people vibe.
- Be kind to service people and anyone who has to deal with the public. It's crazy out there.
- Rest.
- Support your local library. Just getting your library card can do a lot, but many of them have non-book resources and services, ebooks, online audiobooks, movie streaming, and programming worth checking out, if reading physical books is not your thing.
- Donations to the suicide hotline in your area.
- Tabletop RPG Role Playing Resources. What are your favorite resources for building a new character? Is there somewhere in particular you like to go to learn more about a class, race, or species you've never played before? Do you use name generators? How much research do you put into you character's background for your role play?
- Unusual Animals. Tell me about your favorite unusual animal. It can be real, mythological, something you made up, etc. What are your favorite merfolk combos? What's your favorite cryptid lore? Do you love hybrid creatures? Do you wish fuzzy dragons were real? What are your feelings about land sharks? Have you ever wanted a miniature creature (like a tiny hippo)? Or an unusually large creature (like a dog sized bumble bee)? What does your emotional support demon look like?
- Support small businesses, especially local ones.
- Don't gatekeep hair care.
- Support your content creators, fandom and otherwise, fanfic writers, & artists. Comments, kudos, commissions, buying their merch, donating to their online tip jars, engagement on their social medias, joining their patreon, it all goes a long way. They make a bunch of stuff we enjoy for free. A comment or a kudos can really make someone's day.
- The spoons to continue getting my shit together. It's a painfully slow process, but progress is getting made.
- The wisdom to know when and how to ask for help and support as I need it.
- Give a listen to/stream music by the following artists where you stream music. They are all different genres, but please give them a try:
Vision Video (think 80s goth music)
Dirty Space Groove (think 90s alternative rock)
NATI. (folkish music)
Shaaba (pop?)
