Day 2: Your Holiday Wishlist

This seems like a good time do my "Dear Yule Goat" letter.

Dear Yule Goat,
This year has been... Unpleasant. Please help me end it on a cheerier note.

1. Everyone to find comfort and joy somewhere in the coming year.

2. For people to share the love/thank your favorite mods and creators. Whether it's a kudos on AO3 or thanking a mod of your favorite comm for all the hard work they do or leaving a like on a video or whatever, it will leave their day a bit brighter.

3. The strength to weather what's coming.

4. The will to clean and some storage solutions.

5. Happy holiday time with my mom.

6. The right words to tell my loved ones how I feel about them.

7. Whimsy. I plan on sprinkling that stuff everywhere. I'm going to need extra.

8. I'm not sure what I need for this, but this has not been the best year for me creativity wise and I'd like to fix that going forward.

9. Again, I'm not sure what I need for this either, but whatever it is I need to help me keep on top of life admin.

10. A new mattress, as well as sheets, blanket, comforter, pillows, and sleep accessories. (My bedframe is fine.)

Dear Krampus,
Aren't you looking handsome today? New conditioner? I know wishlists are not normally in your purview, but I have been one of your more faithful little gremlins this year and the jolly fat man did not seem up to the task. These are the things I have looked for high and low; I can't find them locally, not on Amazon, not on Etsy, not on Fivebelow.

- statement sunglasses - and that statement is “I am tired of heteronormatividade bullshit,” or you know, “I'm tired”

- an emotional support demon

- space; space to be, space to breathe, space to work, space to create, space of my own, space to talk on the phone, space to exist and feel seen, space to rest, space to hide, just space

- the spoons reach out and cultivate new, meaningful relationships and maintain the ones I have

- ASMR recs; I love the one person I still follow, but he is but one person who posts semi inconsistently and over the last year, everyone I was following has either disappeared or been caught up in the “problematic summer.” My preferences are audio only M4M, M4A, or F4F roleplay or bedtime story styles, but I am open to trying new genres – I use them to sleep.

- heating pain relief muscle rub that actually gets hot

- time management skills; either magically bestow them upon me or point me to resources to develop them myself.

- sour apple flavored energy drinks that are not sugar free

- More Clark Kent (Superman)/Jimmy Olsen fics on AO3. While I do understand how comic book fandoms don't really follow the same trends as other fandoms, it's such an obvious ship and there are only 38 fics (and some of those are actually tagged “Clark Kent & James Olsen,” but they got linked together with the shipping tag). They don't even need to be ones I like or would want to read. The pairing just needs more love.
