Notes:
This was one of the first of the boba teas I got from the discount grocery store, but obviously not the first one I drank. It's imported from Taiwan (I think) and comes in a very colorful 7.5 ounce can. According to the internet, it also comes in original, taro, and thai tea flavors, but this was the only flavor the store had. The boba in it was regular tapioca balls. They were of good texture and flavor. The tea smelled really good, but basically, if you had any kind of decent canned milk tea, that's what this tasted like, but with a slight burnt sugar aftertaste. I would guess that is the brown sugar flavor. I like milk tea, so I did like this. It was a decent, highly drinkable tea.

<3 Brown sugar (used to be) a weakness of mine anyway! I'd love to try this one one day!

Hm, given your general geographic location, I can see that being an issue. You might have to find an actual Asian grocery store. Though, at big chain grocery stores, there should be a couple choices of canned boba now and then in the Asian aisle, think Walmart, Target, Safeway.

I've had boba in fruit juices before -- the honeydew was good -- but I haven't seen the canned kind.

I generally recommend getting boba related things from an actual boba shop/boba tea shop for the best experience, but given it's recent popularity explosion in the US, our discount grocery has had a variety of prepackaged and instant versions and I have severe drink FOMO. I've already reviewed 2 other canned boba drinks, both same brand, but different flavors, that were fruit & tea mixes with aloe vera jelly and popping boba. I have another canned one in my fridge waiting for me that I think is another milk tea one. And I have 4 styles of instant boba tea in 10 flavors waiting for me to review. (I will undoubtedly group some together by type.)

If you are looking for canned boba drinks, they are usually in the Asian aisle of large chain grocery stores, Asian markets, or places that specifically sell Asian snacks.
