Please Check on Your Quiet Friends

I am relatively okay and I am not hinting about anything about myself, but last week a few events happened (which are not my stories to share) that prompted me to remind everyone to please check on your quiet friends. Quiet does not necessarily mean everything is a-okay. Nor does it necessarily mean anything is wrong. But sometimes people are quiet because they are having trouble reaching out or "don't want to be a bother," and it can start a self-fulfilling cycle of feeling isolated. It can slip the minds of the best of and most well meaning of friends to check in on the ones you don't hear from.

I Had a Bit of an Oops

The other night, I noticed I had a bit of a backlog of comments, so I decided to try to respond to or at least look at them while the internet was actually cooperating. Unfortunately, while I was doing that, I accidentally hit the "mark all as read" button. Since I didn't think to delete responded to comments and some go back months, I could only be sure of about 14 comments that still needed to be looked at. I do know I had whittled it down to 52 comments, before the oops.

If I missed your comment, I am very sorry. If it is something you'd still like responded to or answered, please link me to the post or ask again.
